Time
Traveling To the Places
By Maddie B.
Hi,
my name is Athena Rose Foxdren. I could h lived in the Paleozoic Era, I guess it’s
a big deal. Well I time travel and I guess I’ll tell you why you shouldn’t take
your life for granted. Well the Era started about 540 million years ago, well
the Paleozoic era at least. It was going strong until around 245 million years
ago well, I was the town hero. Because I found out that the era was ending. Not
a single thank you all of my effort time traveling wasted.
Anyways
I will start with the Cambrian period, well life when I was there was
interesting. I was traveling before I was born when my great ,great, great ,great
and so forth grandparents met. The environment was warm, wet and mild. There
were some animals something called a brachiopods and crinoids
or sea lilies and an animal called the Wiwaxia.
It ended when the temperatures dropped dramatically.
Next
I went to the Ordovician period. It was also wet and warm, mostly made of
oceans. Some animals were brachiopods, graptolites and conodonts, The waters
were clear as the day and the night was very beautiful.
Then
I went to the last one Permian and it had massive land and water areas. The
climate was okay and the animals were relatively calm around me.. It ended in a
great extinction of animals due to a glaciation crisis affecting the animals.
Resulting in mass extinction.
